Deborah J.5 months ago As the founder of initiatives that uplift authors and storytelling, I believe every voice deserves space on the shelf. African American authors have long used literature to tell stories of resilience, truth, and humanity. Removing those stories sends the wrong message about whose voices matter. Our children deserve access to books that reflect the diversity and depth of the world they are inheriting.
