Women’s healthcare

From "Welcome to The South Carolina Forum!"

Go to the project

Maternal deaths are high. Women need prenatal care and home visits during and after pregnancy. Education changes lives. Healthcare should be between the woman and her healthcare provider. Legislators ( men) should not be making laws about women without medical knowledge. Additionally, they shouldn’t base their decisions on their religious beliefs. There should be a separation of church and state. If they are going to punish women they should punish men equally.

If the last part of your comment is about abortions, the state has already voted on it several different times over 60% of the state, including women vote voters disagree with you. A woman should have control of her own body way before a pregnancy ever transpires.
