State support for alternative energy
From "Welcome to The South Carolina Forum!"
Go to the project
South Carolina’s abundant sunshine makes it perfect for solar energy, cutting household utility bills and reducing fossil fuel dependence. Investing in clean energy creates local jobs and strengthens the state’s economy. With its vulnerable coastline facing growing climate risks, solar-powered microgrids keep communities resilient during hurricanes. Supporting residents to generate their own power is simply good economics, good preparedness, and good policy.

Yes SC is a great state for solar and nuclear. Both are great options and should be expanded.

Sadly, there are many renters who cannot add solar power.
