SC should lead the southeast as a paradigm of excellence in public education - seriously

Public education is a crucial investment in the future of our communities at both the macroscopic and individual level. For some it is the only chance to escape bad or limiting circumstances. SC should lead the South East as a paradigm of excellence in public education. It will reshape our state in time. This happens with statewide commitment to (1) high centralized standards, (2) consistency in science based methods, (3) focusing on teacher retention (make it actually worth it and less stressful), (4) adequate resources and facilities EVERYWHERE.
