SC’s road conditions aren’t just inconvenient—they’re economic strain
From "Welcome to The South Carolina Forum!"

Bad roads = more vehicle repairs, higher maintenance costs, and unreliable transportation.
In a travel-dependent state, that affects:
• getting to work
• accessing food
• making medical appointments
That’s social determinants of health —transportation costs + access to resources barriers.
Infrastructure isn’t separate from health care or economic stability.
Fix the roads out of the legislative budget, not as another tax on residents → reduce the burden.
