SC needs to ensure new residents register their cars in state

I live in a suburb of Charlotte which is growing astronomically fast, most people that I meet are from greater NY, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and most people/cars that I see reflect that. I have neighbors that have been here for years and still have OOS plates. I love playing the license plate game as much as the next person but for each person not changing to sc plates, thats $250 lost towards improving our roads via the Infrastructure Mx Fee, not to mention losses via annual property taxes. You’re legally supposed to make the change in 45 days
