Road Striping is Unsafe
From "Welcome to The South Carolina Forum!"

As a community that depends on visitors, why are roads, signs, and lighting so poor across the Grand Strand? We collect substantial sales tax, especially from tourism, yet key road safety features are neglected. Reflective striping needs restoration, many road signs lack reflective material, and road reflectors are often missing. In RAIN, this makes driving DANGEROUS, especially for visitors unfamiliar with local roads. Tourism revenue should be used to fix these existing safety hazards. Not sexy but necessary.
