Overcrowding

I moved to SC in 1979. It just keeps getting worse and worse in regards to overdevelopment. Traffic is horrendous. Schools are overcrowded. Yet they continue to build new house, condos, townhouses and apartments. Our land is disappearing. Then the taxpayers need to pay for new roads, new schools, etc. Why don't the builders pay for the infrastructure which is needed to accommodate the housing developments they are constructing?
