Some services are basic infrastructure, not luxuries. South Carolina should ensure essentials like electricity, water, and access to basic food remain affordable and reliable for working families. No one should have to choose between paying a power bill and buying groceries. Policies that support stable utility pricing, lower costs for healthy foods, and discourage heavily processed junk foods could improve affordability, health, and long-term economic stability for residents
