Epstein Class- Property Tax Breaks

The property tax break code - FILOTs and SSRCs are written to benefit the Epstein Class and not the people of South Carolina. We changed the Constitution of SC in 1976 to enshrine constant property tax assessment ratio of 10.5% for manufacturing and other corporations making money from the working class in SC. Since 1976 the SC legislation has passed ridiculous ways to allow corporations to not pay their share of property tax. The most egregious example of this is that we allow foreign weapons manufacturers to profit off of our local tax dollars
