I can't speak for all of South Carolina however I can speak about the rising crime rate in Horry County. Myrtle Beach is not a safe family friendly town anymore. Myrtle Beach is due for a good clean up. Eight years ago I really didn't think twice about going shopping after dark. Now I try to avoid it unless I'm carrying. It's just wrong.
