Cost of Home, flood, and car insurance

The costs of home and flood insurance along with car insurance and health care depletes a retired couples double income down to one to pay all of the other bills. It is now unsustainable for many retiree's. We have heard about opening up and allowing more companies into South Carolina to create competition which in turn should reduce costs, yet there never seems to be any headway. Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas are bringing in many new retiree's. We need help sooner than later.
