Construction on Hwy 25 N

Since I moved here from Montana, Hwy 25 going into NC has been under construction. The current project looks mostly complete yet they aren’t done and don’t seem to be working. 35 is a ridiculous speed either way you go. (That and no one does it). In Montana, the season for road construction is very short so they work 24 hrs to get it done. And they work on multiple miles at once. Yes, it is inconvenient for the summer, but it is done by the time snow starts falling. And it rarely takes two or three years to finish once they start.
