Under the current laws, anyone with a valid drivers license may enter and gig our streets. They do not have to pay our taxes. As a gig worker, if I enter another state like illinois, or Washington dc, I am forced to comply with local laws that require I hold an in-state DL to gig their markets. Out of state residents are free to work all over aouth carolina and i dont believe they should be going forward.
