"Candidate Facebook"
From "Welcome to The South Carolina Forum!"
Go to the project
We need a singular source that holds a directory of EVERY individual who runs for public office.
It needs to have a photo, a bio, a clear & concise position on a set list of topics (personally written & signed by the candidate), a list of all campaign contributions received by the candidate, and the candidate's voting record. This should be required as part of the filing process to run for office in the state.
It should also permit similarly "civil" communications where citizens can post concerns & ask questions of their representative.

I don’t think a photograph is necessary because it can be a bias to vote for race not a policy

Thank you! Ballotpedia tries but many candidates do not complete the interview. Candidates should have a clear platform, not the vague information given on some official websites.

Ballotpedia does a nice, non partisan job of identifying candidates once they have filed for office. A questionnaire is required, which helps voters.
