Basic Needs of Food, Shelter and Clothing

I have been in south Carolina for 4 years, and I am proud to call it home. Although, there seems to be a great divide based on color of our skin. I have no right to talk about the hard work specific individuals have had to put it in to be where they are today, but let's not forget that it is one nation under God, and it should apply to south Carolina too as a state. Lack of basic needs and common human decency is a global issue, not only a south Carolina issue. If the South Carolina public and private institutions would partner to bridge this divide.
