Affordable housing

This area DOES NOT have affordable housing for those of us living on disability. I’m currently living in a 55+ apartment complex. It’s supposedly HUD. I’m paying $900 for a one bedroom apartment. I only make $1500. I’m being forced to move in with my children because I can’t afford to live alone anymore. We don’t have options. South Carolina needs to get affordable housing. It’s ridiculous.
